The slow dot?

Isn't the slow dot the same as another blocks like these?

Why did added them? For a better ingame art?

Better ingame art. Also, the invisible dot is invisible, unlike ladders and such.

Yeah, it looks a lot better in-game for some levels. Ladders, vines, and ropes are all real-life objects and don't fit for the more abstract levels out there.

Also as Aaro54 mentioned, it can be invisible, now!

I would think it's to generalise the physics modifiers. That being said, I won't mind having blocks which function as gravity arrows and zero gravity dots.
