Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Is there a way to only auto-align players with blocks when there's actually a 1x1 above the player, so players no longer get pushed off blocks when they are on the very edge?
I have permanently left the game and forum.
EE is an entertaining game and I enjoyed playing it...
...but it's time for me to move on.

The game will always attempt to align you to the closest grid square if you let off the controls, unless you interrupt it by jumping. It was done to make the right fit mini"game" less frustrating since you can just let go of the controls and let it guide you to the right spot. But sometimes the closest grid square happens to be off a cliff, turning a just barely safe landing into a frustrating fall, even more frustrating since it was the game itself that pushed you off the edge after you had stopped. I don't think there are any or could be any levels that depend on it so I really hope the game staff nubs have no problem with at least revising it a bit to check if the block it's aligning you to has a block underneath it.

The same reason you will fall off if you're too on the border in real life.
This is a false statement.
