Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Smiley collision? Awesome! Let's add some relativistic mechanics too!

circles would probably be a better option
It would be realistic but if you think we have lag now, just wait until you have to calculate collision based on circles. Trig functions butcher performance. Then again, I have no idea what I'm talking about.
what if someone just stands there?
i sort of assumed you could push people.
maybe it should take two or three players to push another.
I mean, just follow how normal pushing is done. If they aren't offering any resistance (i.e., they're just sitting there and not hitting any keys) then you should be able to push them around. If they are moving in the opposite direction and towards each other, then it should be zero-sum movement.

I'm just a little unconvinced this would be actually useful and not just a gimmick that we enjoy for a month, like cake and holograms.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

It should be as an effect to avoid smileys blocking passages and such.
I woot it because I want it.
BUT, do you realise how much work it would take? It's even harder to implement than moveable blocks..
>you have to code collisions of 2 objects that can move
>now on top of that you have to make those objects be controlled from different devices which can cause lag
>not only lag will cause annoying problems, it will cause hundreds of exploits with this whole thing.

I don't think it is...

Bobithan had already suggested this once. But yeah, aside from the huge lag I think it would cause it would be amazing.

Yes it is.
Moveable block = moveable solid object
Smiley collision = moveable solid object that lags cus latency

Maverick: Because I was inverted.
