Official Topic Regarding the Officialness of Official Topics

If you're not a staff member of any kind, your topic's not any sort of official. Quit prepending "Official" on the beginning of your topic subjects, it doesn't make it any more special since you have nothing to back it up.

If you're talking about OffTopic category it started just as a kind of meme. OffTopic already points that its nothing serious. So by adding the Official tag you're pointing that is something serious. Its becoming The Official OffTopic!
Was any kind of misunderstanding due to Official tag happened?

I'm glad this rule is in place. It's so annoying when someone makes one decent topic, and then like three people make a copy out of irony. It's not funny, it's confusing and dumb.
