Hey guys! I'm holding a lotto!
All you have to do is buy the number of tickets
you need and send it to Zoey2070 in PM
Buying tickets BE DECEMBER 25 .
the amount of tickets you buy will be placed with other tickets and do a raffle.
The winner will receive all of the gems Through PM.
Ticket Prices:
50 gems = 1 ticket
210 = 5 tickets
CONTRACT:
I agree to send my gems to the EE staff and if I don't or do get it back,
I will not sue, argue, or do anything back to AYB.
You may sue if you find missing gems

no, but seriously, did you even ask any of the staff if you could do this first, since they'd have a large part in it? or is this one of those "i'll just assume they'll agree" things

Most of the people here complain about not having any gems, I doubt you will get anyone playing.

Also, how are you running it if you don't really have a part to play?

I hate that the fact is that we should make 50 gem coupon for this "Everybody Edits Lottery" thing it's too high and who would want to risk gems for a ticket and then watch it be a waste and let somebody else get your gems

Pretty much what others are saying,

One ticket is the equivalent of $5
Five tickets are the equivalent of $20

And you're not even guaranteed any compensation in return. That is way too much money. I would suggest some other compensation for tickets, and then offer a set amount of gems as a prize which you pay for out of your pockets (and not the pockets of others).

This seems like a scam....
Think about this logically.
Lets say the prize for the winner is 300 gems or something.
He only needs 2,3 or 6 people(depening if anyone buys 5 tickets) to break even.
But from that point,anyone else who participates will earn him gems.
He can earn like 400 gems and give 300 away
100 gem profit.

let's say five people enter. that's 50, 50, 50, 50, 50. 250.
the winner would get all the gems. the 250. the prize is dependent on how many people enter. if two people enter, the winner gets 100.

@Zoey: It's not that people don't understand how lottery works. But rather, why would we risk so much money over gems in virtual game? This isn't like bingo or the casino where you can win cash. I don't think it's a good cash investment to win gems. I'd rather either win more cash or buy the gems myself.

fun fact: there's a gem black market of sorts. there are plenty of ppl willing to trade cash for gems. which, in hindsight, makes no sense, and now i feel dumb for buying zelda's gems for like four dollars
