Official Everybody Edits Forums

Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Edit grace time

On a lot of forums or thread based sites if you post something and notice a typo you have a minute to fix it without an edited message at the bottom, if someone replies to the thread then an edit will show the last edited message at the bottom.

Lots of times I post something and notice the formatting is slightly wrong or there is a typo and I end up deleting the post and posting it again because I don't want the edited message because I really didn't edit enough for it to be there (sometimes with a joke or sarcasm - it works best when nobody has a doubt you edited it later, I personally don't look at the time and just see that it was edited.)

I don't care much if it's there, to be honest I like it for the old posts (before the new forums) so you can see the actual time they posted it to see how old it actually is.

I was talking about posts from now (meaning a few days in the future) and onwards, this forum will be around for as long as the game is I give it a year before Steam users trash the place. I am certain there will be a plugin that can be implemented with no hassle because this is a common feature in forums (I have never run a forum before so I don't know, might give it a go for future use though).

yeah I got that, and agree with you, but still I don't know if it was like that before, and that would have left less edits to see the actual time, so it did help for the past considering people didn't think they would switch forums then either probably, was mainly just pointing out it inadvertently caused a little bit of a timeline from the past. Should have put in the post before that I agree it's something that should be implemented, but who knows what will happen with this forum.

Re: Edit grace time

Last edited message shouldn't be below the signature? It's kinda ugly having this in one sentence posts.

This is a false statement.
