Server Error

Hey Folks,

since the update yesterday i can't join any world neither logged in nor as guest. I always get "Server Error - Your connection to the world timed out. Please try again."

I usualy use Opera but i tried Firefox and IE as well - all the same.

Anyone else? Or is there a solution i've overseen?

Maybe ur internet connection isnt that good..
Yes i had that message too but i just refreshed my page and everything was fine

Hi Thanel,

approximately 20 secs today. Yesterday it was like 20 secs on first try then  like 2-3 secs.

Gonna try it on another Device haven't had time to test it yet.

€: Same on the other Device.

€2: It only belongs to join Worlds. Buying stuff in shop etc. does work as always.

Nope, it's a different error. It's just as stated in the first post: "Server Error - Your connection to the world timed out. Please try again."

I have gotten the error before, but only because I went off tab while the world was loading, which for some reason causes it to not load. But before this update, the same thing would happen except if I came back to that tab where the world was loading, it would finish loading as normal. But now, when I come back to the tab it just gives me the time out error. However, this is unrelated - the issue stated in this topic seems to be that they get this error every time they want to join a world.

Yup, that error.

I can log in ee and it's all working fine in the Lobby so far (buying items, preview of the worlds in the lobby etc.) - but i am not able to join a world.

We have pushed small fix to the servers. Please check if you are able to join now and let me know. I hope it will work now.

It varies. Sometimes it can take 10-20 seconds and other times it can take a full minute.

If I remember right, someone else had this and resolved it by fixing their computer's time.

I find it hard to believe that you would have two devices with the wrong time, but worth checking.

Alright, found the error.

There is an issue with Gdata web protection which is part of antivirus.
