That image is 129x129. The limit is 120 and when I tried to upload it as your avatar from my phone the forums agreed that it's too large.

Oop, m=but why does it say upload a png or jpg or something?

I'kk fux this when I get on pc, must've typo'd the size. Android stinks at all is image stuff, windows!

Well my first guess would be that your phone browser isn't behaving itself but without being able to take a close look, I can't say for sure.

The file you tried to upload is not of an allowed type. Allowed types are gif, jpeg and png, I resized it. still says this.

Should note that i'm on android 4.1, the upload name says .jpg at the end of it's name.

Could be e default "Gallery" app.

I propose an option to put image from link.

Upload the image same way as last time. I can't find the problem if I can't reproduce it.

I'd think it'd be great, the only problem is verifying size and stuff but even that is pretty easily possible.

If this happened, I have tag-along legislation:
internally save the sizes of avatars (wait, file systems do that!) and allow users to filter out big ones
so... [we] could specify a limit on size. < 1 byte = no avatars; < 80KB = supports zumza's idea

Not if the file isn't stored locally, they don't.
Still, there's no reason I can't store it in the database since I need to check for dimensions anyway.

This seems to be working on the desktop computer.

I believe it has something affiliated with how android inputs files into objects.
I think Different55 could get an android emulator and see what it exactly outputs as, well...

From my phone, I just downloaded your avatar (did the same on desktop just in case), deleted it (verified by desktop), and then re-uploaded it (verified by desktop). You're going to need to give me more specific information. What browser are you using and what version?

Well, the default browser and when I press Upload it gives me a choice. take a picture or select image from gallery.
