actually, i think it's because of how many unique colors there were in the frame when the hue/saturation window fully popped up. the more you know, i guess.

Before anyone says it, I think that we can have stuff like commando and worker because they are actually supposed to represent very different things (plus commando has a scar), whereas this is the exact same thing as the unit smiley, just a different colour.

I'm pretty sure it is a microphone, I assume that it is brown to make it look less pixelated on the yellow of the smiley, like the mouth and eyes. But we all make mistakes, so you shouldn't feel bad.

Back on topic: I dislike the name, because why should this one be green unit, if the other one isn't cyan unit? Also, the idea of doing a couple more sci-fi smileys like the unit like red, and the green one you mentioned is very nice. However, what would make this even better is a redesign of the helmet that still matches the original, but gives it the variety that EE smileys need from each other.
