is not a bug.

In fact, if you get some fancy code, you can actually remove the donate button and put it in your posts. It''s like capture the flag.

What if a new player or something wanted to donate and don't know if is possible or not?

You could give them the donate button.

In all likelihood, a new person isn't going to show up and simply want to give money without understanding/being a part of this community. Further, the idea behind the placement is either support with advertisements or support with donations.

When they don't see that banner, the other idea is to donate for the title (Right? that's a thing?)... which would require my aforementioned membership of the community.

Tbh, we could probably make the donate a bit more slim
Perhaps less top padding... but it probably wasn't meant to be used in the forums anyway.
