Auto subscription to own topics

Seems logical that if you post something you usually want to keep track of it.

Like how there's a toggle to subscribe to all posts - but I just want to follow my threads (as I post a lot and my threads are the ones I care about)

Kind of, but that means all threads not ones that I create - I'd like to subscribe to my topics but not my posts.

It takes just 2-3 seconds.

There's an option to subscribe to posts, there should be one for topics
