Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

As of right now purple switches only go to 99. Having them go to 999 would allow for more complex machines (idk right word) because, imo, they are the best tool for them.
I'm trying to make a solveable and checkable Sudoku board, and I need 539 different switches.

If you don't get it, the 9 is partially off the switch.

Seems all good to me

This can be a good idea, but how wil you get more numbers on that tiny little block?
I suggest another 9 different coloured switches
whabber made a new pazzle

Yes we wanted to add that but the size is issue. If you find a way to fit these numbers then we can do update.

Perhaps reduce the font size of the numbers?

or switches with different colors, each from 1-99

0-999, not 1-999.. right?

Font is 4 x 5 instead of 5 x 5
That is perfect and so simple - why have I never seen this or thought of this before?

Thats what whatter said above, and I think that could get confusing... Imagine hitting multiple of the same number in various locations, it would just be a lot more simpler if each switch had it's own number.

0-199.
The 1 is small, not?
This is a false statement.

That was easy...
How difficult would it be to have 0-99 be 5x5 and 100-999 be 4x5? Because the smaller numbers will be used far more often, and they should be easier to read than the larger ones.

just yesterday I wanted to suggest, that these numbers should be bigger. It's hard for me to tell the difference between numbers like
2, 5, 6, 8
Btw, why does 9 not look like a 6 upside down? If that works 9, then 6 should look like 9 upside down, so there are at least less numbers that look alike, if the resolution is bad for people like me.
I am thinking of switches, that are easy to read, not of switches that are useful for mechanics.
That 999 switch really looks good, but what if we do it like this?
edit:
this solution would be great for me and for the thread starter.
You see in the upper left corner a letter from A to Z
and numbers from 1-99, BUT with pixels of 4x7 instead of 5x5 !
And as an extra I displayed the number 66 in two ways and I have to admit, that 66 as an upside down version of 99 looks weird, BUT
66 with 4x7 pixels looks great.
If possible you can choose to use letters from A to Z or none.

2nd edit:
Now that the pixels can be 4x7 instead of 5x5 for a number, there is no need to use letters :/
So yes, 3 digits are fine, but make them easy to read aswell pls.

Personally never had an issue reading them, also is presented how it should be.

I think something about 1 digit in top <--- and two digits in bottom --->
