Allow simple BBcode on signs

As of right now, signs only support basic white text, making signs bland and the same. If you could put in basic BBcode such as b or color=#xxxxxx, signs would look better than what they are right now. Some BBcodes also will not be used, such as url=x to prevent people linking to inappropriate websites, as discussed in the linked signs topic.

That looks way too unintuitive. Only 16 colors, all chosen by a hex number instead of something memorable. People shouldn't have to stare at a chart to be able to use something.

yeah but who will bother to type § when most people wont even know its ALT+21 or how the character is even named to google it.
also we can exclude magic from those codes because it will lag up ee alot.

Then we could increase the character limit, or not count characters that are part of the BBCode syntax. I have no idea what color &c is without searching for a chart and looking it up, while I can tell at a glance that #FE3F3F is a bright red.

Just having `#FE3F3F<text>` and `#F33<text>` would be better than color=#FE3F3F

Just having `#FE3F3F<text>` and `#F33<text>` would be better than color=#FE3F3F

Works for me. tbh I think if they're going to add formatting, they could probably come up with something better than BBCode.

By default it would act as normal characters, so it would take up space.

I'm gonna bump this because I'm lazy and it's the closest thing to my suggestion i've found in the two minutes of searching

basically we need like, italics, underlining, strikethrough & bolding plskthx. hell have it be like \i \u \s \b in addition to \n for new-line

and ye i'm sure that this specific suggestion exists somewhere too but... meh
