Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Basically the same things as Gradient Maps or features like that in Photoshop, but in ingame worlds! Changing the saturation, hue, lighting, etc.
It probably should be something that'd be changed in the world options - maybe even a block that has an color-changing AoE.
This is supposed to be atmospheric and not Instagram filters for your selfies, so I'd believe it would be better as a drop-down list containing various filters, such as "Sepia", "Dark Night", "Blurry Snowfield", "Washed Up", "Colorful Party"...
Some low-quality screenshots I tried to change to give an example of what this could look like. Don't mind the few mistakes and ugly spots because I'm sleepy and lazy atm. Zoey may add a few soon.

When you proposed it in chat I thought you meant for backgrounds only. I think this may be a bit much. Plus rendering stuff like bloom and blurriness would also cause major lag.
Still, could look cool.
No u.

nice idea, but it would be too much for new players

i don't think it would be userful to play with it, and it would cause many lag, but it could be cool on some kind of feature that is used to make pictures
Pretty sure this will be an option to play in normal filters, so you can choose to not play with filters.
