[Challenge] Decoder

Want to attempt decode some things?

▼Basic Tutorial

This is most likely the easiest to decode.
First, examine letter frequency. This is not required in the basic decodes/tutorial, but it is a good practice.
J - 1
G - 1
N - 3
Q - 2
Y - 1
T - 1
F - 1
Lets try a basic decoder round.

Lets attempt turning these letters backwards, encription forwards (most of the time) decription backwords (unless encription is forward)

That doesn't look right... Lets go back one more

Yay! We deciphered a message!

▼Enig Tutorial

Enig decodes are Extremely easier then the Engima machine that was used for war in World War II, by Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany.
Example:
If I were to put "EEE" Into the machine and have the setting the name
The result would be "IJK", or "ABC", or more.
So how do you decode them?

This will be our sample message.
So, we need to go through a round of numbers - 26, and since the length is 10, perhaps 36.
First, lets put each letter down by one.
Example:
Since K is the first, we must skip it.

Lets bob that down, since it's the second letter, we bob it down by 1, getting us H.

Lets bob this down, since it's the third letter, we bob it down by 2. Getting us O.

Bob down by 3 and you get O.
You should get the point, so I will just put up the results.

Note: for E, the sixth letter (but you go down by 5), You go down by 4 and you reach the beginning. Loop back to Z.
And then you decode this like the way you decode basic decodes.

▼EnigSquared Tutorial

These is just like the Enig one!
Except... instead of bobbing down by One... It's squared...
Example:
Lets say I want to encode "Hi" with a setting of 2

So H becomes J,
Then the setting gets squared (Squared is when a number multiplies by itself)
So instead of going 2, I go 4

So Hi on 2 would be J M.
How to decode:

So we have a code:

We must decode it.
So now we need to bob everything down...
L Could be Any Letter. L could even be L if the setting was a multiple of 26 or 0!
Which means we need to go through this process 26 times

▼But Wait!

You don't actually need to do it 26 times! Only 4. Why? Encode some things yourself, you will find a pattern.
And if a number goes over 2,147,483,647 then you know that the code you're trying is too big!
So only 3.
2, 3, 4, and 5 are the codes. During my examination of encoding with an even number, the last bit would show itself. So if you see "pie" at the end of a message, just try 2 and 4. Otherwise, try 3 and 5.

Yea... "Fun"
So lets try this with a code of 3 (for quick tutorial purposes)

I don't think it should be a forum game. A forum game should require some sort of input from players in order to play, whereas this specifically tells you not to post spoilers. Also there might be people who don't like forum games but would still like this kind of thing.

I don't think it should be a forum game. A forum game should require some sort of input from players in order to play, whereas this specifically tells you not to post spoilers. Also there might be people who don't like forum games but would still like this kind of thing.

This is an quite easy code, but it may be a little confusing to understand.

CRK 3

A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z <-- Letters of the alphabet

Find the first letter of the word, and then the number next to it is how many letters forward you move.

If you're right, the first letter is "F"

Do the same with the other letters, and you should get "FUN"

This can be with 2 or more rows, like this:

OJK 5

It will be "RobTop" (geometree dash reference)
