Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Numberkirbyfan1o is arguing that we should not use curse words or at least try not to because they can offend people. This is presumably with the google definition of "annoyance or resentment brought about by a perceived insult to or disregard for oneself or one's standards or principles."
When he argues that, Jawapa brings up that only insults can offend people.
This is argued using his own definition of offend which is that only insults can offend people.
and as far as i can remember he did not make this clear to everyone
By Jawapa's definition, it is literally impossible to argue that words alone can offend people.
As a result, this conversation is pointless. IIRC they both argued that words can offend/cant offend under the definitions they are following.
IDK
even if we were following Jawapa's definition, we would just leave out the word offend altogether and instead Numberkirbyfan1o would be arguing that words can result in "annoyance or esentment brought about by a perceived insult to or disregard for oneself or one's standards or principles." Which would require jawapa dispute
idk i feel like it doesnt matter what definition is used, because we can still argue what words can and cant do
but its impossible for the conversation to progress when people are using different definitions that contradict each other
if im wrong anywhere please correct me
