As you all know, there has already been a contest not a while ago...
about art and MINIS...

CONTEST RULES:

1. the object of the contest is to make the best system/device. EXAMPLE (may not use design): http://everybodyedits.com/games/PWd2b7joCAb0I
Also, we will judge on goodness and uniqueness (make something that no one has made, make your own SYS).
For example: a little while back, I needed a randomizer for my level... And I came up with a SYS Randomizer. I know, just a invention to save a level. That's what we expect from you. Not that you make a randomizer, but you make a SYS that helps you and share it to help others. That is the point of the contest.

OBJECTIVE: Make a typewriter in EE or a Wheel of Luck. Must be Easy to use and fast. Use at least a 100x100 world, may use old SYS you made as long as others have not copied the SYS.

2. to set up your team, PM me with title SYSC [username(s)] in the forums and setup is like this:

3. You may only have a max of 3 people in your team.

4. To submit levels, PM me with the title SYSCSL [username(s)] in the forums and setup like this:

If you want to find the best system, you need to give us a problem and we should be solving it with systems... Different systems may focus on different aspects and favoring one over another may not be fair judging.

You gotta have some initial prize to interest people in joining your contest, even if it's not a lot. It shows that your contest is more serious and could get other players to support more prizes. Hoping that someone will donate before sign-ups end is pretty dicey without any donation of your own.

1. Will there be a theme announced after sign-ups? Just "best system" seems kinda vague.

2. 30 days to build!? Is there anyway you could shorten that? I don't want the contest to drag on forever. I guess it depends on how complicated the building will be.

hmmmm could be worth it but i agree with arkonagames because you need to have gems ready and then let people donate gems because if nobody donates then i guess you have to cancel the contest or something like that ( plz dont ban me again ;-; )
