Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Halloween

https://wiki.everybodyedits.com/images/6/6e/045_pumpkin LESS THAN 365 DAYS UNTIL HALLOWEEN https://wiki.everybodyedits.com/images/6/6e/045_pumpkin

dedicated to Wes Craven, the king of horror films as called by me, just now.

I know there has to be at least one other person on this entire forum who is as preemptively excited as I am. Right? RIGHT?

someone please share the hype and discuss spooky stuff with me. movies, what your costume plans are, favorite candy, memories, songs, haunted houses, whatever.

to foster discussion, here's a question: do Halloween parties, as shown in movies, even exist? I say they do, for the sheer fact that party city has Halloween stuff, and I can buy two tombstones and get a third one free.

Re: Halloween

I don't celebrate Halloween, it's not really a thing in Australia.

Once, however, I did give a couple of kids dressed in bedsheets (spoOOooOOoky ghosts) like an apple or something.

THE HALLOWEEN PARTY NEVER STOPS
just because you're too old doesn't mean you can't celebrate.

Re: Halloween

What's amazing is that that video was uploaded in 2005. it's like the true theme of halloween. besides the halloween theme, I guess.

also, for anyone who lives near a Spirit Halloween store, here's a handy-dandy coupon that expires at the end of September. 20% off any single item, online or in-store.

Re: Halloween

Halloween isn't a thing in Brazil either. :< My school usually lets students in the final year of high school wear anything related to Halloween on that day, but not much more than that.

Re: Halloween

I'm extremely excited for Halloween because Halloween is the day after The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth comes out so I'm probably going to be playing a lot of that.

Oh and I just recently moved to a place where people actually live and not some back road in the middle of the forest, so maybe I'll end up giving out candy or something.

Re: Halloween

that reminds me
i had a halloween party where there was suddenly a very long power outage that lasted around 4 days
and i couldn't go to sleep because it was too loud downstairs

i also had a halloween where i just ate at papa gino's instead of doing anything halloween-related
i got sick to my stomach from it

10 years and still awkward. Keep it up, baby!

Re: Halloween

im probably the only one here who does not like halloween

if you're telling me to:

1. knock on a stranger's door and ask for artificially sweetened paraphernalia
2. dress up in a handy-dandy halloween costume
3. go to handy-dandy halloween costume parties

then no, there is no use for me to perform these tasks

i'd prefer staying at home and having my...fun-time...

Re: Halloween

Our school used to host a halloweenparty every year, but since the legal drinking age changed to 18 & our school decided to just don't consume alcohol on schoolparties anymore, no one comes to the schoolparties. So they dont host a halloweenparty anymore & I'll pass halloween doing what I allways do on a regular saturday. Im sure there will be some other halloweenparty but my friends are scared(?) to go to party's that aren't hosted by our school or something? idk

Please, call me Thomas.

Charlie: Well, if you were directly above him, how could you see him?

Re: Halloween

Favorite Halloween memory: Eating a couple Oreos with orange filling then barfing for the next two days. (Could be the amount of candy I consumed, but I was young, the memory is hazy.)

Yeah I don't understand why kids go to people's house and beg for candy like a hobo or something.
I only did this when I was really little and once when I was a little older and I didn't like it.

Re: Halloween

What's better than vandalizing houses and saying it's part of the Halloween?

Here in Brazil we don't ask trick or treat, we pull our pistols and act like criminals and serial killers, murders are frequent.

EDIT: The 2nd sentence was sarcasm.
