Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Connecting bot to an open world

So, I kinda had this question for a while... How do I connect shared bots(Or in that case any bots at all) to an Opened world(You know the ones where only basic blocks allowed, and everyone has edit)??? Thank you in adavance.

http://capasha.com/eeinformation.php

Check header
GameID and RoomType's

Here you can see the different room types.
From what I can see the method is nothing different for open rooms than from 'closed' rooms.

(correct me if I'm wrong)

Re: Connecting bot to an open world

I might be doing something wrong, but when I try to connect any bot to an Opened world it says something among the lines: "The room with this ID is not running", or "Room with this ID has not been found".

Could you give me the line(s) you use to connect?

I don't know how ZBot works, so I can't help you here.
You'd have to talk with the creator to report this bug.

Uh. Since I know you're a Bot creator, a good one in fact... Could you make something similiar to EEDitor/ EE Animator... ?... That would work in OPENED WORLDS xD?

Naturally, one question needs be answered: Why?

And two, I really hope Capasha's requires room ownership.

Not much you COULD draw with only the basic blocks, aside from an indestructible fortress since the bot would constantly redraw it.

Can't really do any drawing without edit rights.
So no need for the room owner stuff, since it's purely the fault of the world owner to give a person edit, ALLOWING him to troll/draw stuff all over the place.

Re: Connecting bot to an open world

Any bot will work in an open world, you just need to put in the correct world ID.
The problem is, the ID you see in the URL isn't the actual ID you need to connect.

So, if you see "OWwv-jest-jakis-polak-na-ee", turn it into "OWwv jest jakis polak na ee".
You need to remove the dashes and replace them with spaces.

So basically, those errors you've been getting are your fault. Not the bot creator's fault.

In a locked world, you have a point. That goes back to "eww trolls" and we can go on about hacked clients and the like.

In an unlocked world, with no owner, you have a different game. While some people continue to make hacked clients, I'd rather put one less tool in their hands. But that might be a moot point.
