Temporary Campaigns only

Hi,

how about having campaigns only available for a few weeks? This way people would not feel left alone when they cannot finish certain campaigns and they get the oppotunity to play something else / easy again.
The hard stuff still serves as achievment for those able to beat it (thinking of Orangecrix).

I personally would not like to see some unfinished campaign up for all eternity.
Also, as far as I can tell most online games  / MMO have recurring yet changing events, tournaments, competitions etc etc.

Thats totally fine, Oinx. Makes it more an achievment to own these - think about the bird- or bunny smiley etc etc.

Perhaps they would function like Classics in the shop, you can buy the chance to play it (and earn the badge) with gems?

But why not make seasonal campaigns like seasonal contests? Just make the campaign not insanely impossible, and add a limited edition block or smiley.

I think this is a good idea. I mean it's like, I wish I could've entered the Easter contest when I wasn't such a scrub and won the bird smiley. But I sucked and lost and now I never have a chance at it again. I can't hold animosity over the people who won either, because they deserved it. It was all about being in the right place at the right time with the right skill set.

My only suggestion would be, announce the 'limited' campaign at least a week before it begins to give people a heads up.

If all these extra campaigns for duration are additional, like some seasonal smileys, then it's a nice idea. But the first general campaigns have to stay like this, no matter what. At least the hard ones, so the progress or achievements of the hard+ ones has never been in vain.
