Here are the only reasons you would have an alternative account (listed on how common each situation is):

-Ban evasion, if ever needed
-Confusion of moderators
-Confusion of ordinary users
-Novelty

At first I was laughing at this topic, but then I realised I used to have two accounts ._.

It's because I forgot the password to my old one and my email was messed up and wasn't receiving anything so I couldn't reset it, so I just made a new account and the mods were k with it. But since the new forums, both accounts are merged into this account, so idk if it counts (almost wrote accounts there, using that word too much).
