Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Okay so some of you may know I have a small obsession with candles... I've spent well over $100 on candles in the past year (I have 11 in my room).
So, I was wondering who else enjoyed candles and what some of your favorite scents were.
Here are the ones I currently have:
Volcano (Capri Blue Candles)
Modern Mint (Capri Blue Candles)
Honeydew Melon (Yankee Candle)
Peach Mango (Yankee Candle)
Hawaiian Fruit (Yankee Candle - Celebrate Home Collection)
Trail of Spices (Scents of Soy)
Orange (Scents of Soy - The Essentials Collection)
Verbena and Eucalyptus (Paddywax - Apothecary Collection)
Seashore, Coastal Driftwood, Tranquil Waters (Nature's Wick, each scent represents a different layer of the candle)
Apple Blossom Freesia (Better Homes and Gardens)
Eucalyptus Mint (Bath & Body Works)

I, too, have an obsession with candles - BUT WAIT, I'm only obsessed about Roman candles.
Ok, I will share your love. I am obsessed with scents. As soon as I smell a good cologne or candle I get a rush of good feelings or memories and just want to sit there and smell it for days.
I love the Food Network candles especially - they smell exactly like food. Blueberry muffin especially. And pancakes. Oooooh.
As far as cologne goes (not what the topic was about but I think I'm doing it a favor by expanding it a little), A&F has a cologne called "Fierce" and oh. my. god. it is amazing. If you think Abercrombie and Fitch sprays too much cologne in their store, just wait until I get my hands on that thing. I'd spray literally every part of my body and then every item I own. Okay, that's too far, but you get the idea. I'm obsessed.
When I went to the movies to see "Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows", the guy in front of me was wearing a righteous cologne and I actually enjoyed the movie 100% more than if he hadn't been there. Like, in the right context a good cologne could change my life. Scent could actually mean the difference between getting married and not.
Scents are handled by the olfactory bulb, in the limbic system. The limbic system has direct access to the amygdala (emotions) and hippocampus (learning). This combination means that whenever you smell something new, you are more likely to remember it and all the emotions you first experienced with it each time you smell it afterward. Due to the close proximity, these emotions are oftentimes magnified. Like the smell of a book. I wasn't too thrilled about reading in kindergarten but whenever I smell a book I get sent (no pun intended) back to that classroom with that cute little bookshelf, sleeping with a book on my head.
I know nobody asked for a anatomy lecture but it does sound a little weird without explanation. Everyone secretly loves a good smell.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

God bless your wallet.
A bottle of it lasts me for over a year lol so it's usually not that much of an issue money-wise

They shoot at me too, so I have no choice (only on the 4th of July)
i now imagine everyone in this topic as this chick. honestly don't understand the candle appeal, but i have kind of a weak sense of smell. to each their own, i guess...
...although i can't deny that i go into yankee candles and smell literally everything. it's good, but not something i can justify spending money on.

After seeing this thread I thought "wow, he's definitely messed up", but then I realized I spent probably more than 300 dollars on virtual videogames on Steam
