Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

So for my 1000th post, what better than to make a post dedicated to my country, Singapore.
So yeah yesterday (9 August 2015) was Singapore's 50th birthday. Its quite a big milestone considering its one of the first world countries in South East Asia, and its relatively young. What's fascinating is that Singapore changed from third world to first world from 1965 to around 1997. This was possible with the leadership of the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew. Seriously, much respect for him. Not only did he build a reputation in Singapore, he has reputation in the world, too.
Yeah so this is my 1000th post on the forums, call it propaganda or whatever, I'm just so proud of what my country has achieved so far.
Here's a list of what Singapore has achieved so far technology-wise. (I googled it I'm to lazy to list all of them here)

Yeah, it kind of sucks that gum is banned, but I guess that's a side effect of safety somehow dont ask me
