[Guide] How to make a graphical hack client for EE.

I will currently be editing this topic, as to write a guide.

First, you want to download Paint.Net: http://www.getpaint.net/download.html (different from Microsoft's included paint!)
Then, download FFDec, also known as Free Flash Decompiler: https://www.free-decompiler.com/flash/download/
Once you have installed both, you want to download EE's Web Page.
To do so, CTRL + S on the EE website. Once you have done everything, go into the folder it created called "Everybody_Edits_Files" (or something of the sort) and drag out freegame.swf
Rename freegame.swf to 'My hack.swf', then open it with FFDec.
Once you have opened it, you also want to open Paint.net, and get a new picture setup.
Once you have a picture setup, make sure to click 'Image' then 'Resize'. Un- check 'Maintain Aspect Ratio', then set the image Height and Width to 1 and 1. Then click ok.
Go back to FFDec, click on the Images folder, and scroll down to find a bunch of smileys, side-by-side. Double-click the image, then click the camera. Go back to paint.net, and ctrl + v. It should ask you to resize, click OK.
After all of this, use the magic wand, click on a black pixel, and turn 'Flood Mode' into 'Global Mode'. Then, set the Tolerence to 0. You can finally press 'Del'.
After all of this has happened, you can edit the EE Smileys accordingly, and save it.
Go back to FFDec, and click 'Replace'. The smiley list should still be open when doing this.
Find the image that you edited, select it, then select OK.
Now press the save button once's everything's good, then open the .swf with your internet.

I recommend you do not teach anyone how to do anything even remotely related with hacked clients.

Why not? I do not currently see any bad things happen, assuming the majority of the EE community visiting this post doesn't know how to bypass playerglobal.swc issue.

Soon, modded clients are everywhere! Starting with simple graphical modifications. Then moonjumper and mod mode clients return to the limelight. You're basking in all this wonderful response to your post. Then someone puts in phishing code into a popular copy of EE. no one knows how it happened! there's so many everywhere where would you start?

Unlikely scenarios aside. You might not be the biggest idiot, but you're coming close. You're daring readers to look up the issue you're mentioning by name. I guess you're either stupid or smart. Hmm. If you meant any good by it, you wouldn't have mentioned it at all.

Only if you'd really go that far... also, the playerglobal.swc issue is still there .3.
Also, if you're saying 'im coming close to being the biggest idiot', I can't tell whether you're trying to hurt my feelings (which i don't have any, on certain occasions), you most likely failed. Also, I'd like to see those hack clients, they sound neat. Putting a mod mode on my face does sound kinda cool. Who wouldn't? Also, by saying "basking in all the wonderful posts" currently all of them are negative. Simply put, Sherlock isn't home yet.
EDIT: srry if i hurt ur feelings btw. also, i'd like to say, there's a place where everybody starts. i started at having the name of the program thrown out at me. idk if 'might not be the biggest idiot, but you're coming close' isn't really true though. Also, I can see why you said all of this, but not everybody is a programmer.

This is only for graphics, as it seems, but like eeisold said, people will start making hacked clients...
Unless the staff can prevent those, I would recommend not sharing any of this.

1. people already bypassed open worlds before (lol why do u guys even share)
2. hacking the client and bypassing server is too goddam easy

Show proof that you can make a "hacked" client that works for both client sided AND server sided. Example: Making custom commands: /die <username> disconnected that user from the server. ( not only for you. but for everyone.. )

Goodluck if its THAT easy... I think you can do it in just a few hours. Show us <3
