Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

So as you may know, the full screen mode in EE is not more than a pixel stretcher. Not only that, it stretches the pixels disproportionately.
How about we use the regular proportions and widen the player's field of vision? Full screen mode means exploiting the entire potential of the screen, and sadly this isn't the case in EE.
Oh, you made a world with isolated boxes that require the 40X30 measurements? No problem. I present you the Vision Blockers:
Basically, inside a closed polygonal chain of Vision Blockers, you can only see within that chain, as if it were surrounded by fully black blocks.

But these are blocks, right? But what if the player does not have rights to edit? I propose to have some tool in where the location edit bar is, so the player can make a box with the mouse. But the point of this idea is very good, despite the full screen makes the pixels are horrible, could change this in the next update. It has some bugs me as not fill the entire computer screen, but anyway, I don't use the full screen because this bug and because this horrible pixels.
It's for the owner to shape the experience of the player.

Image is broken
Anyway, the unity ee client has a proper fullscreen.
the vision blockers dont neccesarily work since you would have to move them to the right if a player moves to the right etc, when a player is oly supposed to see x blocks per given time | location

I'd rather a block you can connect with, which would then set your viewport accordingly. You could set them like portals. (width/height)
I'm not sure which aspect is odd, but drawing the box is lacking something. Maybe ease? Coherence? Not sure.
Or, you could make it a world setting. Easiest solution of all.
But I do agree. Fullscreen EE is awful. Just stretching pixels.

I didn't quite understand you but I wanted to make something clear. In order to understand the concept, you must understand what a closed polygonal chain is. As for the Vision Blockers, it depends on which side of the chain(s) you are.
Now, while the block itself is a regular solid block, the thing that blocks your vision is actually a different layer, a layer that is on top of all other layers, just like the hex color background layer is bellow all the others.
Shocking as it may be, I can take an "educated guess" as to what you mean by "closed polygonal chain". I figured out what I thought wasn't quite right. Is it user-friendly? Sure, you just have to draw a shape. Since you want players to connect with the box, you'll probably want it in layer 0. That limits things a little bit. If users wanted to go through the walls, they couldn't. You'd be required to have a portal of some sort to actually use the rest of the level. That, or end the fun tunnel vision for everyone. I'm thinking (if supported) this would be the first block in EE to behave based on its placement to others.

Ehhh, this seems a bit too complex. If we want to keep the game actual size when in full screen, why not just extend room for the chat section and edit bar section? It gives an extra perk of not having the open block selection tab cover half the screen whilst in edit mode.

Someting nice do to is to change the full screen to be 2x more larger, so it resize without wrong pixels, and the other part of the screen put the chat
If you zoom the image on the spoilers it looks nice but with a size 2 times bigger
With the chat added, it looks nice too and theres more space for other things, or just make it black (it's 1920x1080)

Umm that is the meaning of isolated boxes, you know, the ones you see in Toop's quest worlds for instance.
Those blocks are meant to serve a specific purpose, which is creating certain "fields" from which you cannot see anything but endless void. I don't know exactly what they call it but this thing exists.
So yes, the result is that traveling between boxes is via portals only.
[EDIT] Of course, you can make tunnels and set the bg color to #000000
Not sure how the vision blockers fix the issue you listed. You said the vision blockers would be a solution for people who require the viewport to be smaller than it is because of level design, but all the vision blockers do is break up your world into chunks. If they did that, they'd have to redesign their whole level anyway. Why not suggest an option for owners to set the maximum allowed viewport size? Or am I totally wrong on what you intended vision blockers for? If I'm understanding it right, I like the idea, but it's useless for fixing the issues people have with changing the viewport size.

I'm afraid so because I have zero understanding of what you described haha
Let me visualize it.
This is The Square by Toop:
This is how it could have been made if Vision Blockers existed:
Green means a vision blocker (it would be black or invisible in reality).
Hope this can help you all understand.
[EDIT #1]
Of course, I absolutely did not mean that Toop or anyone else should redesign their worlds to look like the second image. My purpose in suggesting that idea was to help future builders building more efficiently and comfortably.
Alternatively, players can utilize this method on existing worlds and exploit the entire map.
[EDIT #2]
The concept of Vision Blockers shouldn't ruin any existing world so I have no idea what some of you are talking about. As I said, it is meant to serve a specific purpose and you won't necessarily have to use that kind of blocks.

Maybe because PlayerIO performs many scripts to hide and unhide scenarios. Not really many bugs, but it will be hard to program.
This is a false statement.

Vision blocker woudl be clientside only -.- and no, it wouldn't be that hard
edit: i ment the rendering woudl be clientside, the whole world is beeing send regardless.. or woudl you like to get the whole world resend when togglign godmode? secrets also arent send as fully black blocks / 0 and then send as placed blocks when a player is near >.>
