The player I met on EE says that his art is bad. What do you think of it? :

In my opinion, I think it is really good.

I meant, it's obviously night, and the moon is in the background. There shouldn't be any shadow.. idk why, it just caught my eye the first time I looked.

He means the shadows are going in the wrong direction, so it can't be from the moon.

Most great artists always judge their work as "bad" or "not good enough" no matter how beautiful it might be, probably because of their very own perfectionism that makes them great. Dunno.

On-topic, amazing art. Shading that must've been a pain.

At first glance it seems pretty good, but a simple zoom allows multiple inconsistencies to appear. For example, pillow-shading in the house and trains, no attempts at anti-aliasing are made, incorrect shadowing and shading, etc.

I would rate these ~6/10. It's decent, but there are still a lot of changes that need to be made.

I can't say too much about this but...I know who made this and...I think its great...better than what I can do but in a rating...The shading was Good I guess and I pretty much liked the art of it....both of it seems like there un-finished but generally its good....10/12. It might deserve more or less but its my opinion and yeah....But the thing is the shading with the cloud and the moon...I mean like the light...seems..unatural..Maybe its perspective is also a little wierd and also same with the lighting it just seems wierd from how the shadow is positioned but just looking at it makes it look Very Good. I also like the style of the art.
