Add an automatic updator and an installer before I do and then we've got a deal.

Visual studio online is like lots of ppl working on one project together. I've never used it, cuz I've never needed it. Don't ask me I was just giving an idea

VSO is a pain to get started with, I couldn't even figure out how to edit my project code .-.

I can make an installer for anything, well atleast, a web installer (meaning it grabs the packages from the internet and just puts them into a folder in program files and does some functions if you checked xD) Package installers are really hard to make, Autoupdaters are EAAASY.

Ninjabot 5.6 is out ^-^ Added an updater, but I just, don't really know how to make it... automatic... It's weird (for me), I looked at one of capasha's, and his used 2 exes so he could replace the other exe. However, I want only 1 exe, and I don't really know how else.

As for an updater, you can make a web query to check if updates are available. If so, have the bot download the updated version and have the old version remove itself.

Not sure if it's the proper way but you can have the old version automatically run the new version and on the first time, the new version can delete the old one. So have the old one run the new one and the new one deletes the old. dunno

Ah, good idea... Too bad I didn't think of it myself. I ought to do that some time.
EDIT: however, I'd like to know how to extract files from zip files... Without downloading any extra programs

Once the new version is done downloading (and doubly sure that everything came out OK) the old version can start a batch script to wait a few seconds. The old version shuts down. The batch erases the old .exe, then it starts up the new one.

I think you need to fix your updater. I tried to run the updater but I only get errors.
And fix so you can skip to check for updates too. Not everyone want to check for updates every time.

Well, if ninjabot is 5.6, for some reason i left a bug, meaning it couldn't update...
However, I need it to check every time otherwise i can't force an update :/. Sometimes, people get mad and tell me i need to fix ____ or do ____ (see these forum pages) so i need it to check, otherwise bugs might be abused.
I don't know why the updater has errors, I could run it just fine...

Hrmm... I don't see any message, but in case the error is it freezing up, it is just downloading a file called "tmp" to read the latest version.
