Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

There is an extremely simple way to become a Moderator that people are not telling you. Moderators and Admins say "don't ask" is how you become a moderator. However, many people who do not ask never become moderators. With the extremely large number of people who are not asking, it is extremely unlikely for a person to be the one chosen to become a moderator.
There is, however, a great trick to becoming a moderator with complete assurance. Even if you are unsuccessful in completing the trick, it is sure to ever increase your chances of becoming a moderator.
Lets say there are 10 billion players on Everybody Edits.
You are one person among the 10 billion players.
This is 1/10,000,000,000 probability of becoming a moderator.
However, in actuality, there are not 10 billion players there are only 9.5 billion players.
This is because of a large number of alternate accounts that a large number of people make. The people who make these alternate accounts have a significantly higher probability of becoming a mod, albeit a small probability nonetheless.
This is the trick to becoming a mod: making alternate accounts.
Lets say you make one alternate account, so that you have two accounts out of 10 billion accounts.
This makes the probability of you becoming a mod 2/10,000,000,001.
This is nearly double the original probabilty of you becoming a moderator. The simple task of making an alternate account doubled your chances!
And if you make 9 alternate accounts... 10/10,000,000,009.
99 alternate accounts... 100/10,000,000,099
9999 alternate accounts... 10,000/10,000,009,999
999999999 alternate accounts... 1,000,000,000/10,999,999,999
That is nearly a 10 percent chance of you becoming a moderator!
The more accounts you make, the more likely you are to become a moderator. Of course it is important that you never ask to become a moderator on any of the accounts, or your chances will decrease. The trick here is to make infinity alternate accounts so that you will have a 1 probability of becoming a moderator, or a 100% surefire chance.
Making infinity alternate accounts is difficult, some may not be able to do this. But making many many alternate accounts is extremely effective even without reaching infinity. 99% chance of becoming a moderator is almost 100% chance.
A big issue is... once other people figure this out there will be competition. When someone else makes alternate accounts you will be less likely to become a moderator. If you want to become a moderator I would advise making the alternate accounts as soon as possible to get a head start on the competitors.
Another source of competition comes from new players joining Everybody Edits. There are two solutions to this issue.
1. Make really bad levels and guest bomb them so that anyone who tries Everybody Edits will dislike it and not play again.
2. Encourage people to play as guests rather than creating new accounts.
It has been proven that guests are not able to become moderators. Therefore people playing as guests will not decrease your chances of becoming a moderator.
In summary, to maximize your chances of becoming a moderator you must make many alternate accounts and discourage others from making accounts.

I know thats sarcasm but it's not truth
If some staff realize that you have thousands, or even millions of accounts, at least they should ban you, the chances to get IP banned for flooding their system with data is 99.99%
You could create bots or employ chineses (sorry) for make accounts, but to make millions would take much time
Also, if 90% of the accounts are you, why would the staff IF THEY NEED give you staff powers to any of your fake accounts?
The max you could change with this is to get attention and get IP banned for flooding the EE server
lets say that theres 1 million accounts on EE (it's around 1.3 million)
generaly theres around 5000 different players on EE every week
5.000/1.000.000 is 0.005%
Why should the staff hire more people if they aren't online? so only 0.005 players could be part of the staff
and theres more, do you see staff mebers that is newer than 3 years old accounts? i don't know much but the players who is older than 3 years of account is like 10%, they dosen't really need be a old person on EE, but they need to know how EE has been passing during these years
so the chances would be 0.0005% thats 500 players
also, you don't need just be active, and jknow about EE, you need have knowledge about your job on EE staff, if you wanna code the game, you need have coding skills, if you wanna be a moderator, you need social treatment skills, that reduces alot the chances, around 10% too
around 50 players left, so why they don't be part of the staff? because the staff DON'T NEED MORE MEMBERS, they will only need more members if they need to delete a member of the staff or they are overbused and need more members to help.
Sorry if the numbers are innacurate (well they are)

Problem with making tons of alts isn't the volume. (Bots can do that faster than your "chineses")
Now you're either sitting on a social engineering problem. That, or confuse the admins that you're really someone else. Many times.
In short, you have to be in their circle. Not in the circle? I'm not sure if brute force applies to "friendship". Worth a shot, though.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.
It is a well-known fact that those people who must want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it... anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job.

This implies they will select EXACTLY ONE moderator AFTER you create the accounts. In reality they probably are not accepting any new moderators UNLESS there is a large influx of players. Obviously thats where the alts come in i'm just saying that your probabilitys are flawed. I think the odds of becoming a moderator are more like 50%.
ZOEY DOESNT ACCEPT ANYTHING

A valid point. If you could make all of those alts simulate actual users (segue into funding for some AI (ha)), then the mods would have no choice but to pick moderating staff!
Of course, if they're all from the same IP, you'll be sunk. Now's the time for a widespread, compromising botnet to form! (jk, don't do that)

This is wrong.
To become a mod, you need to show the staff you can:
-Make bots
-Create good worlds that make people come
-Be a good player with other people.
And not create 1 billion of alternate accounts.
noob123: >.< WHY DID YOU GIVE HIM EDIT!!!!
someone: he is a mod, he can have edit in all worlds.
noob123: wow! i want to become a mod!

I can't make bots
I make worlds that are average - wouldn't call them good.
what defines a "good player"? - People have different opinions on what makes a person good. I know not everyone may consider me to be a good player.
creating 1 billion alts though... That shows dedication, something we'd look for.
Gka is always right.
