That world is useless, it doesn't save. There's a reason of why the max world is 300x300.

It saves, yes... but only so many blocks.

I forgot the limit, I think it was 160,000 blocks. Once more blocks are placed, the world won't save.

Yes, Megalamb had a difficult time with saving his Musical Showcase level for that same reason even though it was a 300x300 level.

It's not as simple as the "number of blocks". The morphable and many action blocks take up more filespace in the level than other blocks. Apparently, the server only allows saving worlds up to 200kb. Things like Admin Text and Signs take up far more filespace than static blocks.

A 300x300 world with only static blocks and bg blocks does save, which is just under 180,000 blocks (because the border doesn't include backgrounds), but putting musical notes and signs in will completely screw up the saving.

I was told this is something that cannot be fixed by the devs, because it's a Player.IO hosting issue, and it's also the reason there are no worlds larger than 300x300.

Byte arrays are used in transit and saving to reduce the size. Perhaps folks could get creative and find a more efficient way to store level data on the servers? I don't think there's a great amount of space that can be freed up, but creativity can't hurt.

Depending on how you look at it, "morphable and many action blocks" actually take up the same amount of space. But that's the problem. They should take less.
(Each block is divided up into block ID, layer, and X/Y byte arrays. Or so I think. So, block ID 9 gets one, ID 10, ID 11, etc. However, if the blocks are modified for "morphing," they get an entirely new entry. Apparently that takes up space.) I'm starting to wonder just how much extra space music blocks (should) take.

Oh well. There should be a warning label/button somewhere that says "Hey, you're almost out of space. If you keep going, all your hard work will be wasted and you'll have no one to complain to"

What if you compress the world when saving and uncompress it when loading? Just do all the compression stuff client side to save server resources. Maybe to make it more compresible you could use a modified gif format that uses 16 byte indexing but without the indexing in the header. Each block already has an ID, use that for its index number. 2 frames in the "image", one for each layer.

BigDB, the database system that Yahoo Games Network provides which powers EE, has a maximum object size of 500 KB. That means any level that contains more data than that will not be able to save because of that limit. Atilla made me the level a few years ago when he discovered an exploit. It's long since been fixed and the only people who would be able to replicate this now would be a game administrator. I'm also fairly certain this is the second topic pertaining to this level...
