Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

What do you think about capitalizing on this forums? Do you tend to take more seriously posts with capitalization?
I do, as I see who wrote capitalizated planned the post and who wrote without any capitalization is just trying to be funny.
What is your opinion about capitalizated and not capitalizated posts?
This is a false statement.

Personally, I take posts with proper capitalization more seriously because when you think of the opposite (having no capitalization) it shows that if they disregard capitalization, their grammar and how they convey ideas might be hampered, because capitalization is relatively basic.
It might make posts a little more formal, and I find that it attracts other people who also capitalize properly. If you did not capitalize anything, I wouldn't have replied to this post, because I wouldn't have taken it seriously.

idk i pretty much alternate between the two because i spend too much time on tumblr
on the forums, i take the proper grammar ones more seriously, but in ee i kind of think people are trying to be kinda snooty. weird, i know, but whatever.

If someone almost never capitalizes but then uses perfect capitalization in a specific post it makes them look like they don't know what they're talking about.

I usually use grammar to convey tone of voice.
To me, something that is written sloppily is usually meant to be sarcastic.
However, if something is written thoroughly with proper grammar, I am inclined to take that post more seriously because I know the user took the time to try and leave a well thought out response.
That being said, there are cases when a post may seem poorly written due to language differences, or simply because the user has not yet learned proper forum etiquette. I think these are best considered case by case.
In short, I view good grammar as a sign of intelligence, but I don't ostracize people who don't speak English as their first language and thus may post with improper English grammar.

I don't really care too much about capitalisation. If I'm tired or just putting out a short post, I almost never capitalise my sentences. However, if I'm making a much longer post, or one that I take seriously, or a post where I think for more than 20 seconds about what to write, then I worry about proper grammar.
I don't judge people on their use of grammar either. Apart from iPwner.

I don't worry about looking for capitalization in others posts, nor do i really care much about small grammar mistakes either. As long as it gets a message across without it being confusing then I am fine with it. However, obvious misspellings are something I do look at, mainly because there is a spell check right in the text box, it shows they are to lazy to even look over their post and fix the red lines under words.

If a person who rarely uses capitalization capitalizes stuff with correct grammar, it just makes it look like they're trying to be cool.

Everyone has their typing styles. If you change it for a specific post, you're probably trying to change your tone/seem more something else. It can alternate-ish with mood as well. I just tend to use as best grammar I can, out of habit bc that's my style.
Idk even what english grammar means.
The only think I know is that 'I' is always capitalised and I see lots of people saying "idk" when they should use "Idk". Sorry you aren't capitalised...
And I know that "an" is used if the first letter of the next word starts with a vowel and "a" when not.
Everybody edits, but some edit more than others

no one knows what english grammar means. it's so convoluted.

fun fact time.
okay, but that isn't actually correct. close, but no. it's the sound. If it's a vowel sound, then it's 'an'. If not, it's 'a'. [x]
"this was a one time thing"
"i'll be back in an hour"
if i come off as condescending i really don't mean to, i just thought that this was neat when my teacher told me, because for the previous 11 years of schooling, i thought it was based on the letter, too. in english you p much just go with what sounds right.

English grammar legitimately disgusts me
Capitalization on the forums is formal, but on games, it's normal to go all out lowercase. Whenever Someone Does Every Single Pooping Letter Capitalized I Turn My Head Towards Them And Go Like "Bro, Its Just A Game! You Don't Have To Be 'So Formal', But I'll Take It!"
You know not of who I am.

i Really don't Care about Capitalization
half My posts Are entirely Lowercase and The other Half are Properly capitalized
10 years and still awkward. Keep it up, baby!
