Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Have you ever wanted to make a points system or a wins system customly? well now you can with this! Leaderboards are used to add a number system in the playerlist and even the numbers below the player tag (if you check that in leaderboard settings). So here's how it'd work, Leaderboards are disabled by default, But to enable them, goto more options, leaderboard settings, and from there, check enable leaderboard (and optional is leaderboard below playertag), Then hit add entry (you can have up to 2 leaderboard entries) Name it what you want, and it will be added, Now this block is automatically in your inventory if you enabled leaderboard, This is called leaderboard block, So first off, When you click it, It'll tell you what entry to add/subtract to, and how much to add to it/subtract to it. So lets say i have a leaderboard called POINTS, I'll show you a playerlist example (if you have leaderboard enabled, it will show NAME and then the leaderboards after it
NAME POINTS
Joshua708 0
Master1 0
and then i hit the block that gives me 1 point
NAME POINTS
Joshua708 1
Master1 0
Pretty cool huh? I'd like this to be a feature, as it would help in games. You can also add your own features to leaderboard in your replies!

Very cool! I will add billions of points to everyone just to clutter the player list.
You can either use a bot or do it yourself, lazy.
This is a false statement.

Why do you always choose the hard route?
-Some people don't know how to program
-Making it yourself takes time, his way is easier for quick boss types
I think this could be modified, but I like this idea. Heres what I think it should be.
In world options you can customize the leaderboard to be based off of coins, deaths, etc
To view the leaderboard, it is simply /leaderboard.
You can also make the leaderboard customizable, so instead of coins or deaths, the only way to get points is the owner gives you points
for instance, /givepoints kirby 32
that gives kirby 32 points
Then /resetleaderboard resets the leaderboard
Or maybe /announce both resets the leaderboard and announces the final results in the chat. For instance, when you do /announce, you see
* SYSTEM: Kirby is 1st with 23 points!
* SYSTEM: Wabadaba is 2nd with 12 points!
* SYSTEM: Soccerfreak006 is 3rd with 8 points!
That would make my life so much easier if this is added.

1. Open a Pastebin or Document.
2. Write down how much someone won.
3. Make it in the correct order. (If you're too lazy, I bet you are, then you can use Excel.
4. If someone wants to know how much someone won, just ask and you can always use ctrl+F.
This is a false statement.

But that's not what i mean by leaderboard
I mean, for instance, if I have a race, where people have to collect as many coins as possible in a certain amount of time, at the end, I want to be able to do /announce and see the results. Do you know how hard it is do go up to everyone and ask how many coins they have, or test by putting coindoors on top of them

You can make the coin door pyramid.

You can make the coin door pyramid.
Or you could implement this feature which would take up no room in your world
You would have to teleport EVERYONE to the pyramid. No /reset, as that resets their coins.
Offline
You can uses spikes to kill them all and have they respawn above the pyramid.
I know we don't need this if we have a lot of features to use.
This is a false statement.
Offline
But if your level is big, spikes is a nuisance, as you have to go up to everyone and kill them.
We didn't need portals, we could just use arrows to get from point A to point B, but they were an awesome update.

Good suggestion! This is now in the user features area in my post! Thanks for the good feedback!

1. Add a checkpoint at the start of the race.
2. Add a death gate(or coin gate) right after checkpoints.
3. Add a coin door pyramid right below checkpoints.
4. Add a spike at the end of the race.
5. Have all players start, they will touch the checkpoint, collect coins and then die at the end.
6. Now you can check players score.

but i don't mean an actual race, i mean a big world where the way to go is not linear. Imagine it is a pac man arena, with coins like dots, and they have 10 seconds to collect as many dots as possible.
I need to see who got what
plus, #5 doesn't work if someone doesn't comply :/

You have the curse effect.
The coin pyramid still takes room, and curse has a max time

But you can have a race open for up to 60 seconds (soon to be more), then you can calculate how much coins each player got.

Or, you know, you could make life easier and implement this feature.

Easier for you, not for moderators and users who lags so much.

So every update should be halted because of potential lag?

What if somebody dosen't know how to program?
and what if they dont have room to do it themselves?

Probably, thats what he is saying.
