Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

What EE Truly Needs

What EE Truly needs

Don't you miss the feeling of having that mod join YOUR world for the first time?
Or seeing a mod join the world that YOU'RE on?

Well, this is exactly what you need. Not more "Mods" or "Admins", but the Mods & Admins to join your world. However - since all the Mods and Admins are usually busy, you might need to hire somebody.
The perfect person to hire is someone who stays on worlds for a while, who isn't "Away From Keyboard"
Someone who follows the rules, but doesn't enforce them.

Now you might think that I'm trying to add more mods/admins, but then again I'm usually AFK, meaning I wouldn't suit for it that well, but good enough.

Almost any player can fit the goal, meaning this is finally a chance for players.

I feel that players respect Admins more them Mods, but tell me if I'm wrong.

This, is what EE Truly Needs.

NOTE: plz don't hate mods, i dont really want more mods and i get the fact that you guys dont need more people. just listen and ponder it.

*About Replies*
I want you to not hide your feelings about it, I really want you guys to say why you hate it, or why you like this. I really want to know if this is really what EE "Truly" needs.

Re: What EE Truly Needs

We used to have "secret mods" that came to worlds, but they were banned recently unfortunately.

Re: What EE Truly Needs

You could call them minimods, or playermods, and it would be more like a blue color for the nametag. That would be a useful feature, BUT there's 1 problem, 2-year old wannabe toddlers (no offense guys) who become a mod and ban everybody who dosent let them do what they wanna do/they insult the kid. So I would be seeing this as a no. Sorry.

Re: What EE Truly Needs

Have you listened about EE2? It featured a system where you could add "admins" to your world. Instead of a moderator or a guardian managing your world, add these "admins" so they can do all what the owner can, for example, when you are offline. If you want to ban someone of your world, just do it, it's your world. Admins could also ban players of the world, but i think that should be set up by the world owner.

EDIT: The owner is responsible for adding admins that could make any damage to the world. The owner can also remove admins and ban them of the world if neccesary.

Re: What EE Truly Needs

Why would you even need this? There's already plenty of people complaining there's people on the staff doing nothing, and you want to add people who literally just play the game and stay in worlds? I see mods/admins join worlds all the time, and see them answer questions a lot too. If you specifically add people to go into worlds and do this, it can easily cause that feeling some people get, that excitement, to go away because that person they hired is expected to join levels, and eventually the thrill will be gone because it is so common place. There is no reason to add more people on the staff who just regularly play the game.

You understand that is supposed to mean every regular player right? Every person should be doing this anyway...

Well, not every player does that - nor does every play follow the rules. You see that is the faulty of man, and I do see your point in that, but still - 1 admin/mod should join at least 2 levels per 2 days, idk... I see they are very busy, so I make the amount of levels and days low. I do agree with you - just enough to keep my idea in place.

Uh, they join more than 2 levels in 2 days

Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they don't play

I don't like this feature that he is suggesting, but mods wouldn't get mixed up with phishing, as they are not supposed to ask for email/password, ever. So the secret mod would get banned if they tried to phish //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue

Re: What EE Truly Needs

We try to have a presence in-game.  But we all have lives, and we all have a lot of work to do.

Sure, we can add 10 more people to the team, but then it's almost impossible to keep everyone in check.  And we will still run into the issue of everyone being busy throughout the day.

But if they don't enforce the rules, what even is their job? All they do is visit worlds, and 'excite' players with their presence. Any player who is popular or well known can play this role already, without being part of staff.
