Mobile layout

The mobile layout is weird. People's signatures are entirely cut off, the screen feels unnecessarily tight, text is cluttered and piled over each other...

Yep. It was a very rough, quick thing. I'll be working on it more in the future.

(BTW, screenshots and browser version are a huge help for trying to fix things like this. Mobile browsers are nothing if not inconsistent.)

this is what quotes look like. Good luck fixing it though; I have the same problem on Reddit Is Fun.
OS: Gingerbread 2.3.5 (yes, gingerbread.)
browser: Dolphin 11.4.15

but yeah I'd say that this is all to be expected, you'd have to work some serious magic to make it really nice... heck, it might be best to just... somehow remove images for the mobile version.

edit: nationstates has, hands-down, the best mobile site I've ever seen and its forums STILL look like pretty much a zoomed out version of the desktop site. tbh just changing the horizontal width thing puts you leagues ahead of a lot of forums.

Lol I don't know if I could ever make portrait mode look nice, but I will definitely do my best. And as far as signature images being cut off horizontally, there's not a lot I can do about that except force images to take up only the amount of space they have. But in portrait mode and in these screenshots in particular, the image would be so small vertically to be able to compensate for fitting horizontally that'd it'd be super tiny by comparison.

Suggestoin! instead of having the profile on the left , only have the name above the post , that'll save alot of space already.
oh and disable sigs
