So, On june 30th the last and best update for terraria came out. I was wondering if any other ee player plays terraria!

I used to play it all the time, and I eventually lost interest after beating all the bosses. It's funny, because I knew about the update that was being worked on, and thought "hey, I wonder if there's any news about the update." When I went to the website and checked (on June 30th), it was out. I later realized that it came out on the day I checked it out! Currently, I'm gearing up to beat the Brain of Cthulhu.

i don't play terraria and don't have the intent to unless someone provides a good explanation of why I should

what is the new update and why is it driving terraria fans crazy

kubapolish you do not need a paypal for steam you can just get steam gift cards from gas stations and stuff

Terraria can be described as 2D sidescrolling Minecraft (it's so much more though)
There's a wide variety of bosses and so many types of weapons and armour you can get, a lot of decorative blocks and rare items to craft and combine, PVP options, so many biomes with unique monsters, lots of NPCs with cool stuff...
It's pretty cool.

New update involves improved water physics, graphics update, new expert mode, more monsters, among other things

Vanilla and singleplayer-wise, Terraria has A LOT more content than Minecraft.
Even with mods, you'd need a bunch of them to get on Terraria's level.

Although, Terraria's multiplayer doesn't have many minigame servers or anything of sorts (maybe it does now, I haven't played multi in a while).

I bought it on Steam when it was on sale for barely even 2 dollars. It's sort of fun if you're playing with friends, but these sandbox games are really boring IMO if solo, unless you cheat and mess around with the endgame stuff and have fun for 10 minutes at max.
Maybe we could organize some sort of forum party with Steam games or something, but meh..

There is Steam intergration now. Where if you have the person added on steam you can join their world.

Do you still need to do stuff with yur Internet and stuff tho? Becuz there's this one guy i play terraria with on his server but now i surpasses him an i wanna play on mah world

No, all you have to do is just create a host & play world, and click invite players in the options menu. I was able to connect to somebody with only being invited.
