Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

TW99's Beehive Package

Hey everyone, I'd like to share some graphics that I've made!
This package was inspired by my brother Kentiya's awesome bee smiley.

Here's a preview of my graphics as they would appear in-game:
KbFDytH.png
NOTE: I did not make the bee smiley! See the link above!

Here is a list of graphics themselves:

    Honeycomb blocks: 7stB7TF.png
    Honeycomb BG: Qv5GDEE.png
    Dripping honey: gcNy9zR.png
    Liquid honey: HDVR3BK.pngyF9Pn1M.png
    Beehives: OakMf0J.pngLODnbZp.png
    Beekeeper Smiley: lMF8QR9.png

I'd love to hear what you guys think!

Re: TW99's Beehive Package

Great job!

I like your blocks better than mine, since I had a harder time making the hive pattern so neat, but I really don't see a need for 4 different variations of it.

I love this... the smileys are a little rough, but the blocks are great.

Re: TW99's Beehive Package

Awesome !
However I would try to change a bit the honeycombs blocks to avoid the half-full/half-empty one. I don't how though...

With the quality of some of the last suggestions, they should really add a "fan made" package, that would be nice...

I actually had made an alternate set of honeycomb blocks with 15 different combinations:

But this still doesn't even cover all possible combinations! //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue

The bee smiley wasn't made by me- you can talk to Kentiya about it!

Also, I'm considering a couple of new blocks:
    1. A swarm of bees decoration (tiny animated dots)
    2. A version of the hanging beehive with a swarm

Tell me what you think! //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile

Aren't the morphable blocks decoration only ?

I threw something quickly:
First, slide a little bit the window (Red to Blue) so you have 2 full hexagons.
Then, instead of a semi-solid color to show a filled hexagon, why not using a "liquid light" only on the top left quarter of the hexagon: even if the other parts are empty, you still have the impression there is something inside! Keep the solid color to show an empty one =P

That's definitely something worth trying... I'll play around with it a bit and update you on my results! //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile

Re: TW99's Beehive Package

And while you're at it, try to do a bunch decorations to finish the border properly (as in the clouds pack). That would be the cherry on the cake!

Not necessarily sticky, but they have a high viscosity.
