Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Is it cool to see some ugly drawing on the top right of your screen?

NO MORE UPDATES!!! YAY EVERYONE!!! HAVE FUN!!!

Unlike this suggestion, BgColor was really needed.

Would you wish Everybody Edits levels were all created on MS Paint?

Yeah, because were this added, Toop would use MS Paint. Your logic is starting to have holes shot through it

If you don't want updates, stick to old.everybodyedits.com

Politely disagreeing a idea doesn't mean hating updates, you should know not all your suggestions are good.

Also, Toop doesn't use MS Paint. I mean't having to draw your levels with MS Paint feature, try doing it yourself and see if it will be good.

BgColor is a feature like spike is a feature.
If there were no Spikes and BgColors, true, a lot of worlds wouldn't exist, but they weren't REALLY NEEDED. They were suggested.

Needed: Key Movement, smiley, hotbar
Feature: BgColor, spike, lava (...)
Do you even understand what I mean?

Re: Different(ish) collectables

How would it work? There's still no feature to draw blocks in-game.

If you want to re-texture coins, why don't use a SWF?

Because the majority of the community don't know how.

Because then it would be useless, saying "Play EE on this client for this level", maybe 10% of the players would actually do it, if you're lucky. I still don't see any cons to this feature

I think it would be hard to understand for new players (so many collectables :/). I think we are fine with coins.

Would you like seeing all the blocks re-textured to something you can't understand?

It's just an image, what's there to understand? I don't "understand" coins either.

Still seems like you are leaning towards anti-update. I know you aren't, but the logic you are providing definitely makes it seem that way. I still don't see any cons to this idea.

Like I said before, it's about aesthetics. Sometimes it looks nicer than coins.

If this is going to be added then better have a button to make collectable defaults when just a player, look, another useless UI.
