Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I think, in the modify worlds tab, there should be an option to change your coins into things other than coins. There will still be just blue and gold, and only two collectables at a time, but sometimes my worlds need other collectables, as coins Don't make enough sense. Some other examples might include
-stars
-notes
-rings
-blinking dots?
-flags
-music notes
-jigsaw pieces
-fruits?
-baloons
I would make graphics, but I don't own mspaint. Might download an editing program and make them later though.

Often I need something other than coins as well.

working on graphics right now, but they are going to take a long time each.

Could be cool.

Wait does this mean new graphics for doors/gates too?

Coins are enough, we don't need to clutter the game with useless collectables.
This is a false statement.

Coins are enough, we don't need to clutter the game with useless collectables.
But the thing is, it wouldn't be cluttering
imagine minecraft texture packs. There aren't any new blocks, they just look different
So in modify level, there will be a "choose collectables" selector, where you have a list to choose from.
This will just retexture coins. Nothing more. It will still be only two at a time, and only gold and blue, but just to give a variety on what the player is collecting. Some levels would benefit from this, say it's a themed level, or a remake of an old game.

1. Would you enjoy having EE like this?
2. Again, EE isn't minecraft. And Minecraft can have all uncreative blocks they want, but EE isn't like this.
3. Then everybody will use them all.
4. Why? You have switches and two types that could be used to replace many collectables.
This is a false statement.

They aren't separate from coins. You can only have two collectables in a world, so you choose two if you don't want coins. They're the same as coins, just imagine you can change how coins look, but they're still the exact same.

K, one more time
1. Would you enjoy having EE like this?
1. It wouldn't look like that. Picture yourself changing the bgcolor. It doesn't make a ton of different bgcolors, instead, it selects one, so here, you would only have 2 at a time. Thats it. so you wouldn't have 6 of the different collectables all at once, only two. It's just those two varied
I'll explain this another way too, as it seems like this is the part you aren't grasping
So picture there being a level with 5 blue coins, and 5 gold. At the top right portion of the map there is the 1/3 and 5/5 icon, for the amount of coins that you, the owner, have
You decide to change the collectable, so you go to modify level>more options>change collectables> and pretend you choose stars. Now, every gold coin on the map is replaced with a gold star, every blue coin being replaced with a blue star. The top right of your map would still only have two lines, and these lines would be only stars. Nothing else, and it would still say 1/3 and 5/5. The only thing that would change is the icon next to these numbers, as it would be a star instead of a coin
2. Again, EE isn't minecraft. And Minecraft can have all uncreative blocks they want, but EE isn't like this.
2. Minecraft was but a comparison. Please don't do that thing that everyone does, where you make one far-fetched comparison, and everyone shoves your words right back up your booty
3. Then everybody will use them all.
3. Again, since they REPLACE coins when you select them, this wouldn't be a problem. I think that is what you aren't understanding, perhaps I should have been more clear. I completely agree with you were I to mean having them all at once
4. Why? You have switches and two types that could be used to replace many collectables.
Eh, Switches get very very annoying, as they unswitch themselves, and if you use them as collectables, you usually need a sign that says "This switch represents XXX", which might vary switch to switch, and gets tedious.
That is all, I hope you understand where I am getting at now.

It's just for aesthetics. Like, most blocks do the same thing, they're just a solid square that you can't pass, however they look different so we can make our levels look nicer than just one type of block. For aesthetics.

The problem is that it would change a mechanism completely. Example: If you change a coin to a star, it would make no sense the coin sound plays, so they will have to make a new sort of sound to star.
Everybody Edits is used to have coins, and not random collectables that doesn't match the game.
I feel like EE mechanism will be better having only two types of coins, and not lot of collectables.

Then change the sound
Back then, portals didn't really match the game, nor spikes, but now they are awesome, important features of the game.

Because they're unique. Customizing the collectables isn't needed to the game.

Nothing is really needed, it's just an added feature. Most of the blocks in the game aren't needed, but they are nice to have. We can't just say "no more updates ever, as they aren't necessary."

Don't compare blocks, they're useful for the background design.

Not necessarily, it's just a minor change.

So what's the problem? I see pros, and I don't see cons, other than having to design these all graphically, and laziness really shouldn't be a con.

really Creature what do you mean
look
1. It's only two coins you can re-texture with blocks in the game. (Don't see why you arranged different graphics)
2. If you don't like if coin sound doesnt match, then just don't use any sound when changed
3. It's a cool feature.
By your context, BgColor isn't needed. So let's do this:
NO MORE UPDATES!!! YAY EVERYONE!!! HAVE FUN!!!
Well when mrshoe decided this, wanna know what happend?
Everyone left.

Coins are enough for this, I see no need of having a bad drawn texture.
3. It's a cool feature.
Is it cool to see some ugly drawing on the top right of your screen?

Unlike this suggestion, BgColor was really needed.
Would you wish Everybody Edits levels were all created on MS Paint?

We're discussing the concept, not the potential quality of the graphics (which you have no evidence or reason to support either side).
