Exactly. No point getting your hopes up and expecting to win, then getting mad when you don't.
(No point in purposely losing either though, which is why no-one's doing that)

98X98 is the large world. The game isn't very good at counting. I think you can use smaller if you like though.

Also, can I get an explanation on how the judging will work? Will you rate each category out of 10 then add them up then find the mean number that all the judges gave? I think there should be at least some kind of formula so everyone doesn't get mad again. I think it would be cool to see what each judge have for each category, too. By the way, please don't be biased. I do trust the judges though.

Yes, you can use any sized world as long as it's smaller than 100X100. You can use a small world if you like.

honestly, I am very excited. I am not expecting close to a win, but from the previous contests I've participated in (easter, halloween), I know this is going to be fun. I hope I've learned from those previous mistakes in those last two contests...

Dear everyone, as the instructions say, your world must not be BIGGER than a large world. This means you can use a small, medium, or large world.

As to how judging will work, I don't think we are going to share that information exactly. All I can tell you for now is the four main categories we're scoring (creativity, gameplay, aesthetics, correspondence to the theme) and that each judge's score will be weighted equally.

Will update this topic when I wake back up

Also, I work today so I won't be able to update for a few hours. Don't fret, the deadline for sign-ups is still set at 11:55 UTC+1.
