Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: Personality types

The results change easily depending on where you took the test... Tried it at http://www.16personalities.com/, and

Your personality type is Mediator (INFP-T)
35% introverted, 80% intuitive, 75% feeling, 38% prospecting, 61% turbulent
I guess that fits me to a T, especially my tendencies of daydreaming all day long and caring too much about other people's opinions to the point I'm scared of them, but... this is just a online pseudoscientifical test we all do for fun, the descriptions are pretty broad so everyone always identifies themselves with one.

Yes, thats why I kept the same one for consistency. I mean, especially since they are free, they are going to vary greatly unfortunately, and that's why I mentioned a website which shows all the different ones also.

Re: Personality types

I took the test last autumn on http://www.16personalities.com/ and got INFJ-A (32% I, 20% N, 11%F, 21% J, 23% A). My parents and siblings also took the test and for all of us the results fit exactly.

rgl32 wrote:

Don't think that this is a true judge of personality, it isn't.

Is is. If it doesn't seem to be correct, take the test on 16personalities and you'll get a completely accurate result. I know some people IRL that took it and think it isn't completely accurate, even though their results explain them perfectly. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue

Feel free to look at the other types in that description one if you are interested...

You can't just read the descriptions of each type and guess which one you are, you will likely just pick which one you want to be. You have to actually take the test to find out what you are with any certainty.

TL;DR: Take the test on http://www.16personalities.com/ if you want an accurate result. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue

I never said don't take the test, but you also have to take into account your mood when you take these tests, as well as other factors, you can't say you get the same result if you are tired and angry as opposed to well rested and happy, or in a out of your comfort zone place as opposed to a comforting place. I'm well aware the test says to be as honest as possible as well as answer as you normally would when answering, which would make that point null, but as humans, we are inconsistent in nature, so those things do affect us.
Also, if you look at the descriptions as how you view yourself and not which sounds best, then it should give the same result, because you can be just as biased with the questions as when reading the descriptions.

This entire thing is supposed to help you understand yourself anyway, if you lie to yourself on the descriptions just like you might on some questions, the whole point of it is basically thrown away anyway.

Re: Personality types

I originally got INTP, but after doing it again, I got INFP which I believe describes myself a lot better.

I took the test a couple of months ago and now it's my second time taking it.

Both times: INTP

Changed to an ISFP.

Alright yeah that's me.

Edit: I just read the high-detailed page here and it just described me.

You are INFP, but because your N is below 50%, but that still means he has more dominant Intuition than sensation @creature.

Re: Personality types

Mentioned on 0176 and kentiyas post. It is probably more accurate, but I kept with the other one for consistency with the older posts. I'll probably add that one to the post in page 3 though, unfortunately I can't add it to the OP

Re: Personality types

The first site said ISFJ:

Introverted (I) 74% Extroverted (E) 26%
Sensing (S) 53% Intuitive (N) 47%
Feeling (F) 61% Thinking (T) 39%
Judging (J) 50% Perceiving (P) 50%

Which I find fascinating considering when I took the official test about 7 years ago I was deemed ENTP

The 16 personalities site said "ISFP", which is still very interesting to me.

Re: Personality types

INTJ
Introvert(100%)  iNtuitive(38%)  Thinking(100%)  Judging(33%)

You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (100%)
You have moderate preference of Intuition over Sensing (38%)
You have strong preference of Thinking over Feeling (100%)
You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (33%)

That other one said ISTP. No thanks.
