Can't Select Backgrounds

If you try to select a placed background by holding a number down and clicking it, it will just put an empty block in your bar.

Holding a number and clicking somewhere brings the block that you are clicking on to that number in your bar. If you are clicking in empty space, it will just put an empty block there.

This happens to me all the time, but usually if you click it again a few times, it will change to the background you want, not sure why, but my thought it that they defined it as either a solid block and a background, and they need to alternate between each other, so if you have a background on there and want a foreground block, then it will do the same thing.
