Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

[swf] Link to SWF [/swf]

So the post will show the SWF instead of just telling people to go to the SWF link.

Possible, but ^this. Not sure how much support you'll be able to get.

Re: [swf] Link to SWF [/swf]

The problem with using a tag for clients is that level links wouldn't work. You're probably better off embedding them in your own website so you can make links work. And as I'm thinking about it more, I'm getting less and less sure I want people to have the ability to embed any swf they want into any page. The possibilities for abuse are terrifying to think about.

autoplaying videos?
lag inducing nonsense?

etc?

I would really rather not be worrying if I'm going to find a screamer on my day to day on the forums...

great
we'll suffer the same thing as rotmg forums

quick explanation for non-rotmg players:

rotmg forums disabled images, gifs, and videos completely because some guy was posting hardcore on threads and stuff

there are no images; just links to images
