Your Best/Most Defining world

(I debated back and forth about whether this would go into the rooms forum or here in GD. I finally decided on here because the rooms forum is for posting completed rooms to advertise them as completed, and I want this to be a discussion. If Zoey/D55 disagree, just move it, no biggie //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile)

I want you to link a world that you would consider your best world, or the world that defines you the most as a player, then tell me a bit about it and why you picked that world over others you have. I'm curious as to what worlds we come up with and people's reasons behind them.

Personally, I would have to pick my Grand Piano level (link) because it really demonstrates how I was able to work with the limited palette to create something that I wanted to create. It also is the perfect example of how I play ee: with other people. None of the minis were mine, and the way that the minis got built was by giving out the code to anyone that wanted to make me minis. They are dumb black block minis, and I'm sure many are terrible, but they show how I love to just have people come in and contribute to my worlds.

I was debating saying the ducks in a pond represented me the most, but that one was done out of exasperation over people claiming that I used a bot to do my art. It was enjoyable and I am proud of it, but I worked harder on the piano, and the fact that I am still not fully satisfied with the angle yet still published the level is another point towards making it uniquely mine.

What about yours? What world have you created or contributed to that shows you the best?

But if you never finish a world, wouldn't your most defining world be... an incomplete one?

Re: Your Best/Most Defining world

Supersonic Crew Play Although it was never finished, I definitely had a lot of fun playing with friends and just putting random pixel art on there. What I used to do all the time was make a boss and then give people edit and let the world fill with art. That was pretty much all I did in EE, and I think this world is a pretty good example of that.

The world I am most proud of is my Calculator because it took such a long time. I finished most of it before the portals were multiplied, which meant portals were all that I bought for a long time.

Re: Your Best/Most Defining world

My best world is probably Schizoid's Android. But I can't really say that it defines me as a player. I don't really feel like any of my worlds are really that unique. My most unique world is an unfinished project. However, neither of these define me because most of my worlds are not nearly as creative.

I feel like my style is constantly changing. Each day I hate my old worlds more and more. Most of my worlds are just the classic art accompanied by minis. Now I'm going more into new concepts and mechanics like my arena project, but also story-driven challenges like the ones in Schizoid's Android. So it's hard to say what defines me truly; I'm always changing.

It's actually a kind of reboot of an older world I never got to finish ( http://everybodyedits.com/games/PW7ZtYxYrBbEI ).

Just a world where I build whatever I want, wherever I want. Plus, since there's no fixed theme to it / the only goal is to collect all the coins, I can modify it and add stuff and I won't have to reconfigure everything else afterwards.

Re: Your Best/Most Defining world

I had done many worlds in another account, but it happened that I lost everyone. Yes I had great worlds, fine, minigames with the same gameplay Sensei1's, but not copied. I've never done a copyright minigame, that is, I invented my own. In my current account (AMDS), do not have any items, and do not intend to buy any, because this will take five years to get ALMOST all back because I had smileys and blocks of gems, now I can not buy gems for lack of same money. But anyway, I had great worlds, I made a Fanpage where I stood the worlds I did, well, I delete my facebook fanpage and lost. I told a story that does not make sense in this post, but it's just for y'all know what I was doing good worlds.

Re: Your Best/Most Defining world

Does trolling someone else's amazing level count as you participating in making that level?

Maverick: Started up on a 6, when he pulled from the clouds, and then I moved in above him.
Charlie: Well, if you were directly above him, how could you see him?
Maverick: Because I was inverted.

Re: Your Best/Most Defining world

Definitely "EE crew hates people"
I am so damn proud of this world, in fact i like to think of it as the perfect embodiment of an rage-level. After all this time it still manages to bring me great amounts of entertainment whenever it gets popular. The very art of rage-minis can be spotted upon playing my world.
Future scientists will analyse my level and preserve this great artifact for ages to come. This level also defines me as a person, i enjoy witnessing pain brought upon other people. Ach.. i better stop writing... I feel i might begin to shed a tear upon thinking about how awesome my level is. May this level live and be an example for generations to come; rageminis are the way to seperate the noobs and pronoobs from the truly skilled at EE.

Re: Your Best/Most Defining world

Hmm, it'd be Multiverso as it's various types of personal art and my attempt at an open world-style map (always wanted to try it) combined.
Frostbitten (art is all mine, but not minis) was the best art I've done IMO, but NSFW Crew Skypolis is the most played world I host.

I think my Rainbow Factory World (Not sure if I'll ever finish). It's been in the making for two years I believe. I work on it here and there when I get stressed out at college. I don't plan to add playable aspects, but if I do it will probably be simple.

Re: Your Best/Most Defining world

I think people know me most for Let It Go. It got like 14,000 plays in a month and people uploaded YouTube videos of it. Pretty crazy

EDIT: It's now over 20,000 plays. Not a crazy amount but surprising for me

I feel as though people in general, especially on EE, are often overly humble when they should be proud of their hard work. Also, I asked for your most defining work too, so perhaps your best work is not what defines you most as a player.

Thanks for sharing though everyone, I love reading all of these!

Because long ago you annoyed one of the game admins somehow and now the game hides all your worlds from the lobby.

Re: Your Best/Most Defining world

I'm not much of a level maker but I used to try //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue

I think I made my favorite one in like 2011-2012ish.
vptxhx.png
I was really proud of the art at the time, and it was the first real solo project I did.

I also am/was pretty proud of the art in my easter competition submission. It was a group project (turn up d55) but it just came out really nice imo

Re: Your Best/Most Defining world

I have no finished actual "worlds", and all the unfinished ones are potatoes. Huzzah.

EDIT: On second thought, I have this here relic from the days of magic coin farming.
This means nothing at all, other than perhaps I'm lazy, because a coin farm was for lazy people.
Then there's this other random thing which is literally box minis with some style, but isn't finished and never will be finished because it sucks and I'm lazy.

Re: Your Best/Most Defining world

World that defines my time as a player: http://everybodyedits.com/games/PWZUuCWg7ba0I

World that I really enjoyed creating, but doesn't necessarily define my time: http://everybodyedits.com/games/PWTIdCpl3Ta0I

For anyone who remembers me (*cough*nobody*cough*), they will probably remember my boss level that I developed way back sometime in 2011. That level is currently my 2nd most played level, second only to the other level that I linked. It was heavily inspired by the popularity of "boss" levels back then alongside an idea that likely spawned from some social studies incident in school. As far as I'm concerned it was a successful boss in a sea of bosses.

That second world evolved from simple nonsense into a challenge minigame world, and I really like how it ultimately turned out after I came back and finished it earlier this year. I don't believe I'll make an official forum post for it, unless public opinion suggests I should.

Re: Your Best/Most Defining world

I'd go for EX Crew Forgotten Veil. Lost Continent is close but FV was much more interesting for me to do. Torava Disaster is another level I could have put here.

http://i1.wp.com/ravatroll.com/wp-conte … eil-3x.png

Conception of the level was fun : Other EX members gave me the minis "boxes", explained the minis order, and we briefly discussed the level theme.
So I was alone - with nou for sky-filling stuff - with my boxes trying to turn them into a beautiful landscape. I even gave me some a challenge : putting the biggest mini on top of a tower and making it look good.

Everything was awesome in this level and it feels to me it's one of the best thing I ever did in EE.
