Ok I don't want to be that person, but is a new guardian really necessary? I don't mind NVD having friends as developers, because new content to EE is always welcome, but I really don't see the need for a new guardian. Perhaps there is more that goes on behind the scenes than we know, but it seems EE has more than enough staff for it's uniquely small community.

@Calicara I dunno, The mods make new stuff, the guardians make sure the game rules are followed, so maybe one more would help?

Yea, but we just got Nou. So Assuming all the guardians are somewhat active, now we have Master1, Ultrabass, Thanel, Nou, and KOTO. For admins there are NVD, Jawapa, Toop, CJMAEDER (Developer), and Processor. It's not like EE is a largely played MMORPG. I don't see why we need more staff at the moment.

Idk, I like having him as a guardian because he has no bias towards the community. As long as he doesn't abuse his power I think he makes a great addition to the team.

It's not that I think he would abuse the power, but rather I don't see the reason NVD is adding so many new moderators. I'd rather see the focus of updates be on new game content rather than new guardians, which we already have plenty of.

So.. the staff is going to be assigned like this now?....really?.........really?!! I have never met this person, never seen them until today, and yet they are getting assigned guardian. What the heck? I mean maybe the person has past exp in IT and what not, but when I chatted with him he didn't act 30 he acted like any other person that can annoy you on ee. Calling me a noob, and bashing me when I hadn't even said anything to him (yet) in a world. Staff shouldn't be appointed by family affiliations, it should be appointed by people with experience about ee, knowing the player base, and having some ideas about what is going on and how they can improve the game.

I rarely post, but this has really bothered me, and I have noticed a few others who feel the same.

That's actually a very possible scenario.

Also I've never met him before but honestly I don't care that he's a guardian, the only thing is how long has he even played the game? Does he even know what is considered "right" or "wrong"? Will he even doing anything?

I agree so much. I have never seen this person on EE, and i play EE alot. It just doesnt seem right for me that moderators appoint family members who the community barely knows for these kind of positions. While he seems trustworthy from his blog introduction, i do not see the need for more potentially useless guardians who might not even have played the game.

semi neat thing: the last item he got was red ninja, and he got it a day after the account was last seen.
