Have these always been misaligned?

and I've just never noticed it before?

They've always been misaligned. No idea why.

They are not misaligned just but another brown spot under that grass hanging over and Done

It's always been like that. It's so that the grass/moss stuff hangs off the edge. Not a good way to do it, but Chris was always known for being lazy.

It gets really obvious when there's a light colored background behind it and another block to its right.

That's why there are three different grass blocks that are all slightly different...

I always wondered why we didn't just have one.

Well I knew why we had the three (because two are ends) but I never noticed that the ends don't align with the brown block.
