Giggles at the funeral: please tell me it's not true®

D: It happens. Does it to you? :p It's the worst. I think i'm sadist. For some reason when I see other people crying it's hilarious especially when there's 20 people in a room just blowing their nose and going "AHUHUH" the whole time, it's pretty hilare.  Or maybe I just have no soul. Idk. I remember when my grandma was being buried I was trying to make myself feel sad and then I suddenly imagined something funny and let out a "Goose-honk laugh" and everyone turned to me and I just "buried myself" (pun unintended) so no one would see me laughing. I also find it funny when people don't find something funny. If someone makes a bad joke and no one laughs, or there's an awkward rap video playing and no one's amused. I just look to someone for reassurance, and if they "connect" with the underlying poop-ness of the situation, we burst out laughin or I just laugh myself. Then everyone suddenly swivels their head in your direction eyes a'squintin and the laughter intensifies with the added seriousness. It's pretty bad...

You remind me of comedians that use these kind of situations from real life as an inspiration, while they don't make fun of people they make fun of the stupid situations or outcomes.

You should learn to control it, before it gets you in trouble.

Somewhat related, I always laugh at horror movies. I don't know if it is the nerves, but I always laugh. It's bad enough that I don't like seeing them in theaters because I would the moment for others.

Wow this whole thread is kind of... sad. For reasons you should get.
Anyway I'm not crying or laughing at funerals.. i just feel this kind of indifference... but i do understand the part about awkwardly letting out HONKS of laughter at inappropriate places. It happens ALL the time... I remember i was in class yesterday and remembered something funny as someone was having a speech so it turned out like this:

Mr Joe: So as Maslow`s pyramid shows us, we can clearly see the-
Me: A-!!
*awkward silence*
Me: ................COUGH COUGH URGGHRRR! Allergy guys nvm me!
Mr Joe: ........The pyramid shows us..
