Hey, I just wanna say this to all the artists in the crew:
Some of you probably have done a lot of worlds with only minimap art, so I just want you to remember that when we start making worlds with minis, in game art should be as important as the minimap art in my opinion

I don't know how ya'll have been making art before, but just wanted to say this ^-^

I haven't messed with minis and game play, so I mainly based mine on the minimap. There isn't too many things I've made that were eye-raping in game though, so shouldn't be a huge issue.

Just make something to show your skills. Just don't make it using a bot. No one likes those.

Just make something to show your skills. Just don't make it using a bot. No one likes those.

None of my worlds are made using bots, but i HOST THEIR GAMES with a bot.

Why you want to join: I would like to join so I can create awesome levels with people and learn from others but also teach some.
What skills you have: Mainly Art, some minis.
Best examples of these skills (world link)*: Clicky EDIT = This would may be a crew world but I did 99% of the art and 100% of the minis.

Actually quite busy with school now, but I'll be more active after test weeks and stuff is over. Looking forward to working with all of you.

If you're a member of Horizon, I want you to feel equal to every other member. However, this isn't the case. As the "leader", I have some extra powers. I will always be the founder, but that's all. I want to slowly remove the idea of a leader in this crew.

To begin with, our recruitment system. It's very basic because I just needed something to start off with. The problem is, I am the only person who is deciding who is accepted or not accepted into our crew. This is not a fair way of doing it. I have come up with a few ideas for recruitment that will be more fair:
Whole crew vote - Everyone has to review every application, and we vote on whether the applicant is accepted or not.
Cyclic - When choosing who should review an application, it cycles through the members of the crew, so everyone has to review an application. If you have just joined the crew, you are not included in the first cycle (i.e. you miss your turn to review once).
Voted individual - We vote on the person who will always review applications. This person only changes when someone proposes a revote, or if that person doesn't want to do it.
Voted individual (periodical) - We vote on the person who will review applications. This person changes periodically (e.g. monthly).
Voted small group - We vote on a small group who will always review applications (they will probably have a vote between each other in order to make a final decision). This group only changes when someone proposes a revote or the group doesn't want to do it.
Voted small group (periodical) - We vote on a small group who will review applications. This group changes periodically.
(Anything involving a vote will probably be done through Trello)

So please tell me what you think, and which one is most suitable. You can also propose other ideas if you want.

Due to this change, I'm not going to review any applications until we decide on a new system.

I put whole crew vote on trello, so you guys can vote on it if you want it.

Personally, I don't think it will work too well. The reason is, at the moment, not everyone is active on Trello anyway. So constantly relying on Trello for recruitment may not be the best idea.

I think cyclic could work, however the problem is that some people may be better at accepting applicants than others.

Voted individual works the best imo. This way, the reviewer is voted in by the crew members. Also, it only requires occasional use of Trello. If there are problems with the reviewer, anyone can propose a revote.
