Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

i thought of this riddle while i was sleeping, so here it goes:
You have a standard issue of US Letter paper. How, and in what way, can you use that piece of paper to measure something that is 19.5 inches?
This means you have to use that paper, and that paper only, to somehow create a measurement of 19.5 inches.
RULES:
-You can cut the paper, but you must have a logical reason to do so.
-That piece of paper is your ONLY piece of paper; no second sheet whatsoever
-You do not have a ruler. Finger rulers do not count either. The only ruler you have is what you know of the sheet of US Letter paper
-YOU MUST HAVE A LOGICAL REASON WHEN CUTTING PIECES OF PAPER! Don't do something like:
i cut piece of paper into 4.5 inches
NO!
THAT IS STUPID!
How did you know that piece of paper was 4.5 inches? You have no ruler!
This riddle uses basic math; i am sure you guys can figure it out in less than a minute

Apparently, "US letter paper" is 8.5 by 11 inches, so the short side and the long side adds up to 19.5. Which means that you can just lie whatever you want to measure right next to it and then turn the paper 90 degrees using the corner as the pivot point.

If we are, for some reason, not allowed to turn the paper you could create a 19.5 inches long ruler using this method:
It doesn't matter how far down the cut in step two is, as long as you cut out an equally thick bit in step three (using the first bit you cut off as the unit of measurement).

I'm actually dumb as hell.

I'm actually dumb as hell.
this one is correct
the first one had a problem in step 2; i understand you don't have to cut it that way, but I was asking for a perfect measurement of 19.5. It was pretty smart though. Please, accept this pm of a cabbage leaf as a reward (will be sent)
