Yea but you can't anymore, not even on a hacked client, thanks to GBP (getblockplacer). Owners can identify who placed the block, so it doesn't matter where you are on the map. Kinda defeats the purpose of trying to frame someone.

Unless the world owner is a noob, you can do some funny lies to him.

False. I tried it today. GBP picks up all blocks, regardless of whether it be foreground/BG/decoration.

This. It's not that trolling is 'dead' persay, it's just that the art of it is dead. We (TI:1) used to work hard toward an organized goal with a plan in mind. We all has our own trolling styles, and when us trolls banded together no noob could stop us. I kid you not, there is nothing more exhilarating than a group of 4-5 trolls or more all attacking a level at the same time. It's beautiful in a horrible way.

Trolling is BAD. I don't see the reason why people like trolling. /GBP is there to help prevent trolling, so you can detect who is the troller that placed a block part of the troller's structure. Everything is easier now. It's peaceful, no trolls, it's alot better.

GBP can also detect recently deleted blocks by analyzing the space where the block used to be. It's foolproof, trust.

That is your opinion. I'm not against GBP, but I think it really cut away a large part of EE culture. We no longer need teams to try and find trolls. You can no longer troll by hacking mod mode. Code boxes are practically extinct, and organized trolling is dead. RIP TI:1. Troll culture has diminished in favor of a pretentious noob-friendly environment, and it's really annoying.

If anyone here has ever read 1984, or even if you haven't...

One of the books main themes is "War is Peace", meaning the best way to maintain peace is to always have an enemy to unite and war against. It seems paradoxical, but I admit quite brilliant. Without trolls we are divided as a community, set to our own ways and our own levels. There is no reason to interact outside of your own box. With trolls there are anti-trolls, and anti-troll crews. People must unite to stop the scourge of EE. Without us, what are we except individuals? We post on the forums, but I feel a much less sense of community then I did in say 2011-2012. It's not the same anymore.

That's just my two cents. And naturally the moderators would be against it as well, because for an online game to troll new players is not a good business model.

Trolling is fun. It just is. It's why there is even a whole day dedicated to it, 1st April.
And if you say it's a waste of time, why do you even sit in-front of your PC the whole day and play a flash game? :3
I mean you learn "things" through trolling, eg. how to manipulate people - which is an important skill for your daily life (school, job, wife :b)

I will troll anyone with a bad level, even if it's someone I like. Liking/disliking the owner has nothing to do with whether a level is troll worthy... A level can be 'noob' without the owner being a noob.
