Purple Mod

Today I got into an argument whether it's purple mod or guardian. I myself have never heard them being called Guardians. I for one know they're called Purple mods cause I have Nou on my friend list, and he calls me stupid.
What is your view on this fellow forumer?

They have been always called Guardians.
