Whatever Happened to Trolling?

Today I trolled for the first time in months, and it felt very refreshing.

I remember when I was 16 and angsty I used to troll all the time. In fact, there was a whole infamous group dedicated to trolling. I remember long days using cheat engine, hacked clients, and EE animator just to get a rise out of noobs. Now with commands like GBP, Save/Loadlevel, Kick, and Give/Remove edit, trolling is not only extremely rare, but also close to impossible.

EE is getting so user friendly, even the most incompetent of users are learning these simple commands to get rid of trolls from their rooms. Effectively <smiley name> to code worlds have disappeared as well as the concept of code boxes. There is also no longer any organized trolling, and the few trolls that do go around here and there are amateurs. There's no finesse or style.

Furthermore, without us trolls to punish the weak the noobs are once again on the rise. Not to say the lobby hasn't always been crap, but as of these past few months it has been a lot worse then usual. With the re-rise of box minis, FNaF levels, and crappy RPG's the lobby is worse then ever. Anything that is worth playing you have to go on a treasure hunt for, because you won't find it scrolling through the active worlds.

I miss trolls/organized trolling... Those were the days

Yeah, we get hundreds of reports on people trolling worlds. It's still there.

Yea, but troll is easily removed and cleared away along with the player who was doing it. It used to be you needed a team of players or a bot to track trolls, now you can just use GBP. It's not the same... Even if there was a hacked client floating around (which there isn't that I know of), it still wouldn't work. EE is too advanced.

I like keytrolling, in worlds that stop people from playing. They are so aggressive and writing all bad words they can because they can't play a stupid world.

No offence, I honestly can not comprehend why there is this thirst to knowingly and intentionally harm someone's feelings or creation, just for the fun of it or under the pretext to ''punish the weak, the noobs''. Punish them for what? for their innocence? their lack of experience in a game? because they don't know to make a impressive level for your personal pleasure? I don't get it, it's the most useless thing to do, it really doesn't help at all with anything and no one. Not you, me, the game or the ''noobs''. It's just a useless, barbaric way to destroy someone's else way of having fun.

Whatever happened to trolling, easy, it makes no sense, it's a waste of time, it makes no difference.

What would really help and improve the game instead of wasting time with trolling, maybe explain to a ''noob'' how to improve their levels or...heck, just leave them be.

I don't really troll much anymore. I did yesterday because I was in a really bad mood, but for the most part I quit. I just wish there was a new generation of trolls... Trolling makes sense to me and some others, but not everyone will understand. It's pointless to fight about it, because I know neither is going to convince the other they're right. In the end it is your opinion on whether trolls are good/bad. I prefer to think of us as the vigilantes of EE.

RIP Troll List worlds. I enjoyed getting the code, rejoining the world and trolling without moving just to make me not look like a troll.

like making some of the early minis impossible without the owners knowledge

like making a dickbutt in blocks that can't be seen in the minimap

like erasing some art they just made

Yea but you can't anymore, not even on a hacked client, thanks to GBP (getblockplacer). Owners can identify who placed the block, so it doesn't matter where you are on the map. Kinda defeats the purpose of trying to frame someone.
